Happy Friday !! This Sunday we will be introducing a new song called Highlands (Song of Ascent). As you have been processing through hurt and pain during this series in Job and as Jesus has been working in your life, remember that He is the same God in your hurt as He is in your joy. As you face mountains of hurt and pain this week remember that Jesus doesn’t ask you to climb the mountain to meet Him but He comes down the mountain and meets you in your mess — even at your worst. As we get ready to come together on Sunday, let’s be ready to worship Jesus through this new song! Let's declare to Him that we are going to praise Him during the good, when it feels like we are on top of the mountain, but we’re also going to sing His praises LOUD even in the middle of the heartache, when it feels like we’ve reached the lowest valley! Hopefully this song is an encouragement to you and maybe it can be an encouragement to someone that you have been walking alongside of this week too!
